The idea behind 519 Painters was born in a rented house with two roommates and one big goal: bring integrity and professionalism back to the trades—one brushstroke at a time.
Founder Justin Georgopoulos didn’t grow up dreaming of starting a painting company. But after working in the industry and seeing how often clients were disappointed by no-shows, poor communication, and corner-cutting, he saw an opportunity to raise the standard.
He believed that if you focused on doing the simple things right—showing up on time, being transparent, treating homes with respect, and doing quality work—you could build something meaningful. So, he partnered with a friend, started small, and worked job by job until the referrals started rolling in.
